Description
Margaret Rivers B seats up to 30 participants around a horseshoe. It features projection, audio, and hearing loop technologies. It does NOT have a camera for video meetings.
Projection: Margaret Rivers B comes equipped with a ceiling-mounted projection system. Presenters typically bring their own laptops to plug into the projection system and run the presentation. An HDMI or VGA port is needed on the device to connect to the projection system.
Hearing Loops: Margaret Rivers B is also equipped with hearing loop technology, which transmits amplified, clear, customized sound directly to the telecoil (t-coil) enabled hearing aids and cochlear implants. Presenters must use a microphone in Margaret Rivers B for the sound to be transmitted to the user's t-coils.
Number of participants: Margaret Rivers B can accommodate up to 30 attendees seated around a horseshoe.
Fees: Meeting room rentals are available free of charge during library hours to nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and community groups. Fees are charged to for-profit organizations and to all groups meeting when the library is closed ($30/hr for Conference Room, Margaret Rivers A, Margaret Rivers B; $60/hr for Margaret Rivers A&B combined). Each meeting space has standard arrangements for seating. If a custom room configuration is requested or the user changes the standard configuration, a $30 custom set/reset fee is applied. Pursuant to City of Stillwater Resolution 2023-153: A convenience fee of $1.00 will be applied to all EFT payments. A convenience fee of 2.9% of the total charge plus $0.30 will be applied to all credit/debit card payments.
The meeting must not charge a fee for entrance and should not involve sales or donations. Reserved spaces may not be used for the purpose of transacting commercial activities, including the provision of fee-based services, without prior authorization from the Library Director or designee.
