SUMMARY:Tour the St. Croix Valley Wastewater Treatment Plant
DESCRIPTION:Join library staff on a tour of the St. Croix Valley Wastewater 
 Treatment Plant\, 6163 North Croix Trail\, Oak Park Heights. \n\nPlease 
 read the important tour details below:\n\n\n	Registration is required and 
 must be completed by Thursday\, October 12\, 2023 in order to join the 
 tour. \n	The tour begins at 11am and ends at 12pm. Please arrive at the 
 Wastewater Treatment Plant 15 minutes early at 10:45am. \n	Adults need to 
 share their name and date of birth in the registration form. The Wastewater 
 treatment plant will conduct a security review for each participant over 
 18.\n	Adults must bring proof of identity on the day of the tour in the 
 form of a government-issued photo identification card.\n	You need to dress 
 for the weather! About 1/3 of their tour will be held outdoors.  
 \n	Everyone is required to wear sturdy shoes or boots that completely cover 
 their feet and clothing that completely covers their legs\, for safety and 
 comfort.  \n	No personal items can be brought on tour and no photographs or 
 video can be taken.  \n\n\nThis event is part of We Are Water MN\, a 
 traveling exhibit and community engagement initiative that explores the 
 science\, history\, story\, culture\, and relationships of water in 
 Minnesota\, and\, in this case\, the lower St. Croix River Valley. The 
 exhibit will be on view at Stillwater Public Library from October 12 
 through December 3\, 2023. We Are Water MN is led by the Minnesota 
 Humanities Center in partnership with the Minnesota Pollution Control 
 Agency\; Board of Water and Soil Resources\; the Minnesota Department of 
 Agriculture\, Health\, and Natural Resources\; the Minnesota Historical 
 Society\; and the University of Minnesota Extension. We Are Water MN is 
 funded in part with money from the Clean Water\, Land\, & Legacy Fund and 
 by the National Endowment for the Humanities.
