Writing for the Web

This seminar at Hardwood Creek Library will teach you how to write for the web user. Website writing needs to be organized and presented for the medium it serves. Since the scanning eye and clicking finger dominate this landscape, the editor must use effective organizational website writing to take advantage of these behaviors. You will learn key web writing practices like employing hierarchies of information, ensuring short, scannable text, and highlighting content with visual cues.

This workshop, hosted by Washington County Library and funded by MELSA, will be presented by The Loft. Registration is required.
