Teen Social Activism Series: Hip Hop's Calligraphy
Hip hop artist, spoken word poet, COMPAS teaching artist, and social justice educator, See More Perspective will lead this Hip Hop’s Calligraphy workshop at Park Grove Library. This workshop will focus on graffiti, one of the four elements of hip hop. Participants will take a quick journey around the cultural art form of handstyle in creating graffiti, learning its significance and how to create their own personalized letters. Registration is required. This program is for ages 11-18. This program is funded with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
