Telescopes on the Terrace

Telescopes on the Terrace

Astronomer Jerry Jones will bring telescopes and wisdom to the Stillwater Library terrace, and guide our gaze up to the night sky.  We will start with a short discussion in the library, then move out to the terrace to practice looking at the moon, the planets, and any other bright deep sky objects are available to see.  Jerry will bring his own telescopes for participants to use, plus we will have a library loaner telescope available to try as well.  In the event of poor weather or visibility, we will email participants with a reschedule date of Wed Oct 13 or Thurs Oct 14.
