Karen Tan Artist Reception
Karen Tan is an accomplished artist who works predominately in oil. She has a passion for traditional still life, occasionally landscape en plein air, and likes to explore different approaches to create art. Painting collections of pottery and fresh fruit in the studio consistently inspires. Recently, flowers have also found their way onto her canvas. Tan has also been intimately involved with the library over the past year teaching a variety of Zoom painting and drawing classes that were enjoyed by in the community. Join us in the gallery space on the upper level to meet the artist and enjoy her work on Saturday, July 24 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Her paintings bring joy and a new level of appreciation for art.
