Laura Hannah works for the transmission grid operator Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) as the Wind and Solar Program Manager on the Market & Grid Strategy team. Her professional experience includes roles in clean energy policy making, grid interconnection, solar development, and emerging technologies. Laura studied physics and math at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma WA and, more recently, dropped out of the Power Systems graduate program at St. Thomas because Saturdays are for biking and gardening and not solving y-bus admittance matrices.
