Are you into music? Find a virtual space to connect with others who share your passion!

This group is for tweens in 6th through 8th grade.

We will explore various ways to engage in music with our peers.

A board-certified music therapist will be facilitating each group to provide a safe space to talk about our common interests, struggles and frustrations. We will have opportunities for: collaboration, creativity, exploration and group reflection.

What will we do? Activities may include instruction in using apps such as GarageBand, iMovie and AirJams to create and play music and music videos; building skills to express your voice through songwriting; sharing songs that are meaningful to you, using music to guide discussion. We will share a space to be real and honest about all of our emotions, fears, hopes, disappointments and delights!

Please register with your email address and the private Zoom class link will be emailed to you. All participants will received a journal, which can be picked up at the Bayport Library or sent through the mail. This group is free for all participants.
