Guided Drawing with Oil Pastels with Karen Tan (supplies provided) Online
Capture the beauty of a winter landscape by joining artist Karen Tan from Creative Pastels in drawing with oil pastels. In this online class, you will learn the basic technique of oil pastels. You will also learn about value, color, and composition. Enjoy making art with others in the comfort of your own home. No experience necessary; all levels are welcome. Materials will be available for pick-up at the Stillwater Public Library two weeks prior to class.
Space is limited; registration is required. Due to the popularity of our arts programming, materials not picked up within a week of the program will be given to the next person on the waiting list and your class registration will be canceled.

Hi, my name is Karen Tan. My passion is to celebrate the beauty and richness of life through art as well as helping others do the same. I paint regularly in my home studio, mostly still life painting. Occasionally I join some plein-air groups to paint outdoors.
