Kids Lab Kit: Build Your Own Catapult

Hardwood Creek Library will offer Kids Lab kits for building your own catapult, a family-friendly STEAM activity. Pick-up starts August 11, while supplies last.

You will build and experiment with a catapult made from wooden sticks and rubber bands. Explore the variables that come into play with your catapult and the physics of projectiles. This event is for ages 6-12.

Kits will be available first-come-first serve within the library. Curbside is available for vulnerable populations. Please call 651-275-7300 or email suzanne.yoch@co.washington.mn.us to set up a curbside appointment at least 24 hours in advance.

This is not an in-person event. Supplies will be provided for you to complete outside of the library.

You can share your creations on social media by using @washcolib!
