Artist Lab: A Three-part Series

This three-part workshop at R.H. Stafford Library is designed to help individual artists create and edit their content using library equipment.

Part I of this series will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on February 13th. We will explore the basics of Photoshop on library iMacs and get finer control using provided Wacom tablets. Compose digital paintings and transform your existing art to take it to a new level.

Part II of this series will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on February 20th. An instructor will showcase typography on Adobe Illustrator, plus demonstrate creating logos for your brand, and be on hand to offer guidance on editing your freehand drawings.

Part III of this series will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on February 27th. Curious about Adobe InDesign? An instructor will show you how to edit magazines, flyers, stationery, and books. We'll mainly use the Mac stations, but Wacom tablets will be available to continue work from the previous weeks.

Registration is required.

This series is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
