Ensō Daiko

Ensō Daiko's interactive program features performance, lecture, and interactive activities. Learn about the history and cultural context of taiko drumming in Japan and the United States in this event at R.H. Stafford Library. Learn all about taiko drums, a general vocabulary for the art form, and kuchishoka - how they say and teach rhythms. This performance features an emphasis on individual empowerment and the community-building benefits of taiko. This program is funded with money from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. All ages are welcome, no registration required.
