Woven Paper Kente Cloth (art for K-6)
Inspired by colorful textiles from the country of Ghana in Africa we will weave many bright-colored papers into a black paper “loom”. We will then draw fun designs inspired by Kente cloth onto the colorful squares creating our own beautiful patterned placemat. This workshop is for children in K-6th grade. Registration is required.
This program is made possible in part with support from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund (Legacy).
