Virtual: Third Thursday Night Adult Book Club
This month's selection is The Feather Thief by Kirk Johnson. This book club will be held virtually, hosted by Washington County Library.
On a cool June evening in 2009, twenty-year-old American flautist Edwin Rist grabbed hundreds of bird skins - some collected 150 years earlier - and escaped into the darkness. Two years later, Kirk Wallace Johnson was consumed by the strange case of the feather thief. What would possess a person to steal dead birds? This is the gripping story of a bizarre and shocking crime, and one man's relentless pursuit of justice.
You are welcome to join with the group in the discussion about this month’s selection!
Please contact Suzanne to send you a Zoom invitation to the meeting and to assist you in finding a copy of the book if you would like to read or listen to. Thank you!
Titles selected for discussion on this date and for other library book clubs can be found on the library website.
