STEM Saturdays: Launch and Light
Join Peter Johnson, from Expand STEM, for hands-on stations and demonstrations exploring light and launching rockets at Park Grove Library. Learn about light will include radio, microwaves, infrared, visible light, UV, X Ray, and gamma rays. Then, you'll get to launch your rocket into orbit useing clay, paper fins, and a straw. You will adjust the angle, power, and mass of the straw launcher to launch it perfectly! Ages 7 and up. Registration is appreciated.
