Super Special Teen Hang Out: Relief Printmaking

Teens, join us for a super special Teen Hang Out at Hardwood Creek Library and learn about relief printmaking! Relief prints are created by cutting away material on a linoleum block to create a printable surface with positive and negative (cut-away) areas. Once cut, ink is rolled onto the linoleum block surface and transferred via friction onto paper. In this workshop we will create single-color relief block prints and two-color reduction block prints.

Limited to the first 20 participants. This program is funded in part with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage (Legacy) Fund.
