Introduction to Norwegian Genealogy
Are you pining for the fjords? Do you want to know what a patronymic is? Are you puzzled by gårds and bruks?
In this class, genealogy expert Janet Poff will introduce you to the ins and outs of Norwegian genealogy. Learn about the special challenges facing researchers studying Scandinavian family history and what resources are available to deal with them. The focus will be on online resources, but we will also examine popular print resources and tell you how to locate them.
Registration is required. If you have a laptop or tablet, please bring it to follow along! A device is not required.
