Clay Creations: Let's Make Monsters with eHolt Arts

Dragons! Sea monsters! Sabertooth tigers and more! Letʼs get creepy and fantastical in this fun, playful clay program! Our teaching artist will bring clay, tools, and colorful underglazes to help us in our pursuit of capturing (crafting) some of the worldʼs most curious cryptids. We will learn some traditional handbuilding methods to construct scales, feathers, claws, and wings. Whether you choose to make something spooky or adorable or adorably spooky, all monsters are welcome in this class!

This program at R.H. Stafford Library is designed for children ages 6 to 11. Registration is required. Children under age eight must be accompanied by a responsible adult who will remain in the building for the duration of the program.

Note: all completed projects will be fired by the teaching artist and returned to students within three weeks after the program.

This program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
