Researching and Writing Historical Fiction
Writing a novel or a story based in history can be daunting. Where do you begin to understand the past, and how can you accurately portray it in your fiction?
Join us in this class at Hardwood Creek Library, presented by The Loft, where we will learn tools for researching past eras, historical archives, and artifacts. With more research in hand, we will then learn how to embed details seamlessly into our stories to make our writing feel true to the time, distinct, and exciting!
This program was funded by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
