Beginning in the early 1900s, the Big Band swing sound swept the nation with the pinnacle of its popularity in the ‘30s and 40s. The music defined these decades, and its influence reached across the oceans to Europe and beyond. Learn more about the music and its effect on the culture of the era as we explore hits of the time.
