Stream Ecology: Live Macroinvertebrates at Stillwater Library

As the Naturalist-in-Residence for Stillwater and Bayport Libraries, retired SAHS biology teacher Andy Weaver, will talk about the rich ecosystem of the St. Croix River Valley streams. We will learn how to test water quality and assess stream health based on the type and quantity of macroinvertebrates. For ages 8 and up, accompanied by their parents. 

This session will take place INDOORS at the library.

There is a Stream Ecology session at Brown's Creek Park on Wednesday, July 30, at 1:00 pm.  Andy will have waders for people to try collecting in the creek!
