Planting Pollinator Friendly Annuals
Get an early start with your pollinator-friendly plants!
Washington County Master Gardeners will be here to help us plant seeds of annual flowers using a mini-greenhouse technique with recycled containers. Come spring, your plants should be ready to transplant into your garden to feed the pollinators.
You will leave this hands-on class with two plastic containers that, when placed outdoors, will act as mini-greenhouses.
Seeds and soil will be provided. Please bring two clear tall containers or allow light to shine through. Milk jugs, juice jugs, and distilled water jugs are great examples.
All ages are welcome, but children should be accompanied by an adult.
