Life Skills for Teens: Taxes
We've all seen the memes and jokes about how you learn the Pythagorean theorem in high school but never how to do taxes. This workshop will help you get a leg up! This introductory workshop presented by Washington County 4H and the R.H. Stafford Library will cover taxes, what you need to know to get started, and some of the important terms you'll come across. Tax Day is April 15. This workshop will help you get a better understanding as you look ahead towards all of your future tax days.
This event is for high school-aged youth (ages 14-18). Use the button below to register. The registration form also gathers demographic data for the UMN 4-H Extension program. This information is used to develop and offer culturally relevant curriculum and to meet program funders' data requirements. The information gathered by the library on behalf of the UMN 4-H Extension program will be shared as aggregate data, and no identifying personal information will be shared at any point.
Due to space limitations, teen library events are limited to event attendees and staff. We encourage grown-ups and siblings who wish to stay nearby to browse the library collection or explore other areas of our library during this time.
