Natural Wonders: Turtles & Habitat

Learn how to protect turtles and their habitat with Elizabeth, a naturalist from William O'Brien State Park. Turtles have unique characteristics that allow them to thrive in their semi-aquatic lifestyles, but predators and humans have increased the dangers for turtles. Learn what a turtle has to go through when traveling from pond to pond in a survival board game, and see what you can do to protect these important creatures.

Geared toward ages 8-12 and their caregivers. Registration is recommended but not required. There won’t be live turtles at this program.
