Native Seeds: Supplying Restoration
Join Wild Rivers Conservancy for a screening of the documentary film "Native Seeds: Supplying Restoration". This film reveals the importance of native species and investigates the steps needed to supply native seeds by exploring the native seed supply chain in the western United States. The film features footage of seed collectors, farmers, researchers, and land managers working to scale up the supply of native seeds to meet the growing restoration demand.
As climate change intensifies, the world is seeing a staggering scale of damage to vast landscapes. This film will introduce you to tenacious people who are finding creative, scrappy solutions to restore ecosystems.

About Wild Rivers Conservancy
The Wild Rivers Conservancy of the St. Croix and Namekagon is the official nonprofit partner of the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway. Together with the National Park Service and many conservation partners, we work to perform the following core functions:
- Land Conservation
We work to protect and restore important natural and scenic areas along the river and throughout the watershed by partnering with land protection organizations.
- Water Quality Protection
We focus on improving water quality, recognizing its interconnection with land use.
- River Corridor and Watershed Stewardship
We engage people in educational, recreational, and volunteer stewardship activities that give them an understanding and motivation to advocate at the local, state, and national levels on behalf of the river’s values.
- Celebration
The St. Croix River watershed is a national treasure. We live, work and play in the St. Croix River watershed because we love this place, and we celebrate that love at every opportunity.
