POSTPONED: F1rst Wrestling: LIVE!
EVENT POSTPONED DUE TO TODAY'S WEATHER FORECAST. We apologize for the inconvenience.
This event has been rescheduled to Saturday, September 5 at 1pm!
Get ready to make some noise - F1RST Wrestling is making their triumphant return to Oakdale Library! Join us for an afternoon of wrestling matches on the library's back lawn while learning about the history of wrestling fashion. Bring lawn chairs, water, hats, and sunscreen!
This program will feature a wrestling-themed craft. Get inspired by the wrestling fashions and costumes of the past and present to create your very own paper wrestler. Use these little wrestlers to cheer on your favorite heroes and villains in the ring!
Registration is not required.
This program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
To learn more about wrestling history and fashion, don't miss the Oakdale Library talk, Pro Wrestling History with George Schire on Thursday, August 13 at 6:00pm. Historical wrestling photos from the Minnesota Historical Society will also be displayed in the library in the weeks leading up to the show!
