The Impact of Immigration on Minnesota's Economy

On February 11, 2019, the Stillwater Public Library, in conjunction with the American Association of University Women (AAUW), will host The Impact of Immigration on Minnesota's Economy featuring speakers Michou Kodoko, Community Development Project Director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, and Dr. Tea Rozman-Clark, Executive Director of Green Card Voices.

Much of today's political discourse has focused on issues of immigration This program will bring to the audience the facts of immigration in Minnesota: What is the role of immigrants in Minnesota's economy? Where do today's immigrants originate? Where do they work--as entrepreneurs and employees? What are the misconceptions about immigrants in Minnesota? What are the benefits and costs? What is the human face of Minnesota's immigrants?
